Job Descriptions

(Japan, Osaka) Looking for a Sommelier (Chinese Fine Dining Restaurant) for a luxury hotel. 

The Sommelier is responsible for wine service in restaurant while ensuring the highest level of personalized and sufficient. 

Responsibility: 
• Lead and oversee all wine service operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maximizing beverage revenue opportunities across all Food & Beverage outlets.
• Control and monitor wine orders, stock and par level.
• Pick up wines from stores after proper checking of the order and quantity.
• Maintain wine chillier at correct temperature.
• Maintain temperature records.
• Any other duties as may reasonably be requested by the management.
• Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and morale.
 
Requirements:
• Good wine knowledge and understanding of wine service
• 1 years experience in similar positions in Chinese Fine Dining Restaurant is required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Basic Salary: JPY 330,000 - 380,000 (Approximately USD 2,091 - USD 2,408)(Negotiable based on experiences)
  • Commuting Allowance: Provided up to JPY 40,000/month
